Here’s an opal from Lightning Ridge. Is it a fossil?

If it was from Nevada, or where ever I guess, looks like a bone surface on the marrow side. I dont have precious ones like Lightning Ridge.

Thank you! The guy who sold it said, it might be a coral.

yes it looks like coral fossil ..although not 100% sure
