Site hiccup; yesterday's posts lost

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the site apparently had a hiccup last night some time during the presidential debate, and I, and jakesrocks, had to log back in. After posting some 4 new articles earlier in the day, the Active Topics list had at least 17 threads, but after logging back in, to my dismay there were only 10, so I'm trying to reconstruct what we had.
I've asked jake to repost his specimens, OpalSupreme to repost his beautiful necklace and ring thread, and asked Chris and MoDo to repost their discussion in the wire wrapping thread. I have reposted 2 of the 4 from yesterday, and will post the others again soon, but that's all I can think of, so if you had a thread or reply go missing, please repost it for us and we'll continue on.
Sorry folks, but sometimes hiccups happen.

We are now finding out that notifications of replies have not been going out since Wednesday. Please bear with us folks, and please let us know if you have received any on Thursday, or today.

When you're logging in there's a prompt to keep you logged in. Make sure it's checked and that shouldn't happen, George. Sorry about that. Let us know if it continues after you mark it to keep you logged in.

Well, we were down all day, but now things seem to be returning to normal, and notifications from last week are starting to go out. Much thanks, Chris!!

Well, whatever the idiots did didn't last, and notifications have ceased going out again. I haven't gotten any since the 24th.

We are now without notifications for 10 days, after the previous gap of almost another week. Notifications only went out for about 2 days after they 'fixed' it the first time. What do we have to do to get them to fix us??! After 10 days of no word or assistance from them, for all we know they might not even have gotten the second ticket saying our site isn't working right again, or maybe they thought it was the first ticket resubmitted and assumed they fixed it.
Anybody have any ideas on how we might get their attention? Do we send up a flare?
