Remember the video clip I posted of the red tail hawk that got blown off the nest along with one of her chicks? This is the same nest on top of one of the buildings at Cornell University, and in this clip from a few weeks ago, Big Red drops off a fresh chipmunk and then takes off again.

One of the babies toys with it, after practicing a pounce, but he isn't hurting it, and the chipmunk eventually comes to and runs off while the 3 little hawks stand there staring in disbelief. Apparently their food never arrived still alive and kicking before. Too funny!

They're about ready to fledge now, and don't even look like this anymore.
