Thanks Kurt, this one tried me, first boulder opal I have carved, huge variation in hardness, my carbide smoothing undercut badly, but diamond smoothing and polishing helped fix this.

Thanks, this piece was a challenge, the small toggle string piece is a real eye catcher, I entered this in the Yowah opal jewlery comp last weekend, not sure of the result yet, just like getting my carvings seen.
