Boulder Opal Ring

Post by kjsspot »

I had these nails for about a week before I realized that one of my opal rings match perfectly! :)

That's a lovely ring, KJ, and it does go very well with the polish on that nail. I also like that the next finger has the gold glitter. My daughter sends me nail polishes and I have a nice gold glitter and a rose gold glitter, both with holographic undertones that I really like. I may not go out very often, but my nails are always ready to go if I do thanks to her.

Wear the polish and the ring in good health. ;)

Thanks Pink! It's not perfect but it works. ;)

I love color and sparkles, so nail polish is a way to keep me happy. :) I wanted to wear the opal on my other hand, but that pinky is fatter. lol Anyway, I was amused at least to see the opal ring with the blue and the gold ring with the gold. lol I'm easily amused though. It does help keep the boredom away! ;)

That reminds me of the blond or fire precious opal or woods from here. I need to crank out more things and quit trying to find miners. I cant even remember where the blond opal in wood went i used to have. Did I sell it, was it put away, did i make something. I think i have another tired case for gem cases with old opal in woods in there with a bunch of lessor ammonites and boulders. & some tops koroit whatever rubs.

Sorry. I tried to find a "society" to buy the opal snake head cast I found and I quit looking in THAT direction real fast. ie snake or serpent societies as some countries like naming their sons after snakes in their culture after you know the long/fertility thing... I think there was a connection to House of Windsor in one, but I figured if they were "hungry" for natural history items, it would be a google search on their computer. They would have heard or read about it, not that it's been in a peer reviewed paper. A scientist worried about my security cares to just make an appointment to measure & evaluate it to be the one doing it has not called either.
I just amaze myself friends looking at it in the dome now and then. The fossils are not the biggest, brightest or buyablist from around here.

Off hand the images are bmgs, whatever. i cant understand why all these dopes had to create unique extentions in their programs for your data that will not bee seen by the same type of program. Ive tried to share them many time over the years & didnt after i had to jump thru loops to do it. You have no idea of all the pictures i could have share over the years if this forum was updated to accept modern files. ie big and shrink them as needed. i got a claim to go look at.

Yes, our old program only allows for limited-size photos, so you'd have to edit and reseize the pics, save them as resized, and then they could be uploaded here. The program on my old computer allowed me to edit pics in a snap, but ones on this computer stink since they have so few options for tinkering with photos. But beyond that, even if updating our program would allow us to upload larger photos, with the forum costing me more than double what it did when we launched, I don't think I could afford it, and I don't want to have to ask for donations. The only other option that I know of is to upload it to a service, and then copy the image location and plant it between the image brackets here. ;)
