Ghosting Virgin Valley out of fear?

Post by SwordfishMining »

When I go and read great write ups of anybody but us, I have to know we are a real threat to the big money for the best black opal gemstones cut and out for sale.

Quote: "U.S.A. OPALS (total space given to us) "USA Opals are generally not considered to be stable and opals are mostly made in to Triplets or stabilised. USA opals tend to craze as water content can go up to 14% "
This lumps Virgin Valley with Spencer Idaho, Ignores Oregon, denies California acts like Arizona, Washington, Texas, Louisiana, Montana AND New Mexico together, do not exist. Leaves out we are selling more wet world class black opal specimens by the pound, than anywhere both online & at gem shows. Our cut stones have been in museums along with the GIA collection for many decades and even over a centutry for the big crazy one! They are filmed about as much as any of other districts miners "preciousnesses" from their persy jar stashes. hurrumph hurrumph- LOL!
Some blacks with extreme attractiveness of the best Ethiopian patterns too.

From our friends down under at OpalAuctions. What Is The Difference With Crazing to Crack In An Opal?

Here they describe how good Ethiopian Opals are and none of that old "its crapaloadius and cracks always" slander. Opal Auctions really are an industry leader & I am proud to say they have gone thru jars of opals on my coffee table way back when. I should have let them see the best stuff out of the vault 100 miles away, but distance, as the Bonanza sold them a lot more than I got to. Bonanza opals are not the top of the stability list around here, but I hate to say as they are the most plentiful big black bright clear opals to be had, after MSHA regulations are met. Opticon makes them wearable as any treated stone.

Thousands of rockhounds mining every year cant all be stupid. AND we get mammal fossil replacements along with the woods for collectors. American opals are not all hydrophane either! I wont say most does not crack unusable for PRECIOUS GEMSTONES, but most Australian opal isnt cut or it is blown out of the cement mixers as if it never existed in reality, granted the color seen in the wall is dug by hand out of the wall. Nobody chews thru gem pocket with a excavator if they know it is there. No worries. Living well is the best revenge & "Brandom & the CCPVs" is a bigger threat than losing some sales.
In any case, Im driving halfway to the BLACK ROCK OPAL OUTCROP out in the southern desert (from here)to go to a ranches Halloween Party! BOOOO!

All of these gems never cracked or crazed either & I NEVER used cerium on any of those & they are displayed in the sun in Arizona, not under lights in shade or inside. Picture taken on my HP scanner. Still havent cracked decades later either at least any ive ever seen again & Ive seen several in gold year after year when the owners come to mine for more.
Ammolite for comparison of brightness level of the opal. I did finally get a new camera, if only i can get some new free time LOL.
Oh, & I am a now a ShibaInuaire burying bones! (Its easy, it's a crypto thing)
