Pulitzer cuts a big one.... up

This video involves cutting a fantastic 83 ct opal cabochon, initially cut in 2014, but rejected because "It Looked Like Death," because of its gray background. (I kinda see a pair of deaths eyes in the clear spots)
A 7 1/2 ounce parcel of seam opal from Mintabie, South Australia was the starting material. I show how I cut one large piece from that parcel to make the 83 carat opal cabochon in 2014, then I re-cut that stone in 2021 to make a fantastic new cabochon, one of the finest that I have ever seen.
