Chris, can you break from page 3 on off into another thread, maybe called something like 'email notifications of replies' or something like that? I thought I asked you in another reply by don't see it so I must have gotten interrupted and forgotten to hit submit.

Good Sunday Morning! Just to let you know that I have still not received any notifications as to posts sent to me. That would explain why I have not responded if anyone may have posted to me.

Hi there, I'm SO sorry your welcome thread turned into a mess of technical issue discussion, it's totally my fault, please forgive me!

I just found out that this is actually a know issue in PHPbb that may actually not have a cure. There are some steps I can take to fix this, which might take some time to implement, so please hang in there everyone! Cross your fingers

Apparently, the bug is something like if you are on the forum with the window open, you will receive notifications, but if nobody is viewing the forum, no notifications are triggered to be sent out, or something like that, but I'm sure it's definitely what is going on here, I'm still reading about it.

All further discussion about this issue will be in a new dedicated thread as per Pink's suggestion.

Sorry about that once again Thomas, lets get back to welcoming you and I'll work on the tech stuff separately now!

What did you cancel? I found the settings and adjusted to my taste. There is a quick link that takes you to unread posts. As well as the colour indicating threads containing unread posts.

I turned off the email notifications since you said you didn't want them, right? If you want it back on I'll be more than happy to do it. I have a feeling you were setting them when I did it for you. So sorry if that messed you up.
