Aussie imperial rhodonite
My wife Margie cut this little imperial rhodonite fancy cab with some help, this is the finest grain rhodonite we have worked, comes in thin layers no more than 6 mm thick, has a hardness close to 7, above what rhodonite is said to be.

We ground out all the manganese to produce a pure red cab.

Wow, I've actually never seen rhodonite that looked like that before!
At first glance, I thought it was red coral actually.
Really nice material and great cutting job!
Do you have plans for setting that piece??
