Hello Folks,
I have a small business (hobby) dealing in non-common Colored Gems. I have known Lee T for a number of years and I really appreciate her enthusiasm for Gems. I am looking forward the discussions concerning Gems (All types) - Silver Smithing, Gold Smithing, Stone Cutting, Turquoise, Montana Sapphire, Lightning Ridge Opal and many more. I have had my business license for 10+ years, I gotta tell you though, there really isn't to much that I am not interested in, Coffee Plantations, Banana Plantations, Gold and Silver Mining, Diamond Mining etc..

So with all of that said I wish you all a Merry Xmas and a rather dubious Happy New Year.

Glad to be a member
Bill

Well look who stumbled in while I was asleep!! Good to see you Bill, and warmest welcome to opalholics. The members are probably confused as to who Lee T is, so I'll confess it's me so they don't try looking for a member by that name.

We're looking forward to hearing about all your passions and seeing your treasures. One more post and you're in and have full run of the place, so enjoy yourself, and if you have time please come to the chatroom where jackesrocks and I hang out most of the day. If you come in and we don't see you, just post something and we'll see a number in the tab for the chatroom and come back to play.

Again, welcome to the forum. It's about time you made it! :D

I may whine about the Publickness of the data use, but I always assumed we all live in a glass house and will get caught if acting out of order. Not lurking in the shadows when you are in business or even less if you are spokesperson for anything. I try to conform to the norm where I am just out of basic politeness and respect for the inhabitants. Its taken years to have my mind register/accept taken names as real names in person too instead of the "name that goes with the prints" which seem to be being looked for more often than not for some reason or other. MY niece & her husband changed their last name on marriage and she kept it when she divorced him. People come and go and it really only matters if something that wasn't supposed to go went gaunt with them. Then the "it was only a rock (insert lie here) mantra" comes in handy.
