Damned snow is drifted up in front of my new shed doors. Boxes of rocks are piling up in the living room again. Really need a couple of warm days. Minus 2 degrees right now with minus 9 wind chill.

Winter has yet to hit us here, it's actually the warmest it's ever been here for this time of the year, set a new record today.

Weird.

I timed it right the other day. My pile tarp in the yard was shredded and I replaced it with a canvas tarp I came across. Then we got the snow. Cancelled the kids Christmas program but not the caroling last night. Also had the ugly sweater contest for the first real party after they got their liquor license approved. Melting off today again before we get another dusting.

Supposed to hit the mid 20's here today. Maybe the sun reflecting off that big metal box will melt enough snow that I can get the doors open.

It's so warm here we're going to be above freezing at night starting tonight thru Christmas, with days in the 50's and 60's by Christmas. If we make it to 75 or above we'll tie or beat the record of 75ยบ set in 1889. Maybe you should move your container to my place jake. I'll take good care of it for you til the spring thaw.

At $400.00 per 100 miles to ship one of those, I don't think so.

 It is a FRB. All of the companies I've checked who haul these things have a flat rate of $400.00 per box per 100 highway miles.

My daughter's boyfriend's parents run an architectural timber company (large arches, etc) They use these for storage.

My brother, also a woodworker but on the hobby end, is building a workshop for himself out of 2 semi trailers.

He even build all the trusses and then roofed and shingled it.

He's taking a break from the workshop though as his wife asked him to build a mud room extension to their house.
