One great product is soy because it is high in quality protein. That would be my go-to protein.”

There are 2 reasons why you want to avoid soy.

1. Most soy today is GMO.
2. Soy should be fermented prior to being eaten, not ground into flour and used in foods.
There is also more sugar and carbohydrates, and less protein in the vegan burger.

This is true, and you have to watch for the flavor enhancer MSG, which is often given other names to confuse shoppers.

Also note that lowfat milk has added sugar to compensate for the missing cream or you wouldn't care to drink it.
She says most vegan cheeses are not fermented but “they are calorific but have [degraded] nutrients”.

Fermented foods provide incredible benefits to the body and should be eaten often, but microwaving also degrades food's nutrients.

Thankfully, Steve was a vegetarian for over 40 years, but over the past 2 years or so he's been eating meat, although he still won't eat beef for some reason; but I believe the lack of B12 and iron for 40 years is why he's always been depressed. Maybe if he lives another 40 years that will correct itself now.

Diet usually has a lot faster effect than that. There are scientists who say our behavior is run by our gut bacteria more than our brain. It is election season.
