For those who have been around since we were opalauctions forum, remember the cutting contest we did where the $1,500 proceeds from the sale of the opals went to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Center? Well they have expanded considerably, and are now a nationally recognized wildlife sanctuary, and even have rental units like an African safari area where people can see and hear the big cats in their enclosures overnight, so that was definitely a worthy effort on our part; not to mention the fun we had watching the stones being auctioned off.
This video of some of their tigers romping and playing came in their newsletter, so I thought I'd share it with you.
