Hello Everyone.

It's good to be posting here again. I disappeared as it's been a difficult time.

This year has had some serious health challenges for our family starting on the 1st January.
As we speak my brother's young grandson who has just turned 2 is having an operation for an aggressive cancer having just had a series of chemo treatments. (I'm posting now to take my mind off it!!!)

Another family member has been admitted to rehab after going into a coma...

It goes on... eish. You don't want to know.

However, I am glad to have been invited to join this forum. Thank you for that. I trust you are all well and thriving.

It's always hard to hear those we know are going thru such trials and tribulations, but we're here to help take your mind off things, so please use opalholics as a place of refuge from the turmoil and we will support you, and I know many of us will keep you and your precious family in our thoughts and prayers.

When you need a laugh, try reading the humour thread, and maybe things in Critter Corner.

All the best to you and yours, and do try to pop in more often for a bit of refreshment.

Hiya again. No news is not always good news unfortunately. It's always something when it comes to life, cause that's just what life is all about. I'm not sure from day to day what I'm doing as it seems to be wait for emergency response. Dr finally called and tripped on themselves to get me in to get my hand cut on myself. Thats gonna slow down my own correspondence.

Our little chappie is out of ICU now and is starting to become alert which is wonderful. He still has another course of chemo ahead though. Thanks for the prayers and support.
