Crystalite still makes a 6" Starlap, but I think they discontinued the 8".

Re: Made an equipment score
I almost had the Rock Rascal Model T sold. Luckily I tore it down for cleaning. Found a bad bearing that needs to be replaced, and the saw blade looks like someone put an S bend in it. After rebuilding, I'll put it up for sale again. Not gonna sell junk to friends.

Made another score on an old Lortone FL 15 vibrating lap. Thing is in used but very nice condition. This is a keeper that I'll get lots of use out of. I'll post a pic as soon as it gets here.

Here is a saw that was given to me. it's actually used in laboratories to cut very thin slices of various things. Notice the thickness of the blade. It doesn't hurt it to flex it that much! Also notice the micrometer in the rear to set slice thickness.

Nice equipment guys! I would love a saw that could cut thin slices like that jim. I can't believe it was given to you. And Jake; nice scores. I've never seen units like them where parts were interchangeable but that's way cool since it saves storage space.

LOL, Pink, in the drill mode the motor can be turned 90 Deg and be used as a jewelers lathe too.
The little box sitting in front of the drill is a bead vise for drilling beads.
