8-) welcome to my self affirmation thread... :o

Well, got enough of the shop up to pop out these 4 small beauties... Minitabie seam opal I had floating around in the boxes. I gotta look at my final polish setup, I'm working on reworked equipment and not the previous setup as it was all torn apart to move it to our new house back in June or whenever that was. Lots of stuff still in boxes.. probably will be for years, I hate moves!

I think I got lucky, one looks like it's a Harlaquin!

This is a partial shot of the work benches, including my kitty sleeping in the chair. (well, a patch of her fur anyways...)

And finally, my Halloween pendant for my wife... Annodized niobium bats... 8-) I made that in a class I took recently. Fun process that I'm brimming with ideas on, especially mixing some opals! COLORS!

Thanks for looking!

Hey there,
glad to see you posting again!

I love your shop, looks great. I'm nosy, and love when people post their work space photos, so I can snoop around and see what they have, haha.

I see the same Foredom handpiece I have, and epoxy 330, and the same easy cast I've used, hmm...what else ya got there....LOL.
Your cat is different though, lol. We have 3 cats, and they aren't allowed near my work space, for their own good!

One of our cats just eats anything he can (we are still missing the bell from his harness, listening for jingling poo when we clean the litter box) and the other one is a pack rat and steals everything. The fat white one just wants to sleep on everything.

I also had to move back in July, my mom passed away suddenly, and we just picked up everything and move in with my step dad as he was alone in the house, so getting shop space in this house has been interesting to say the least.
Take care and glad to see you back!
Chris :)

BL, I'm so glad to see you're cutting again since the bug will make you cut more now. Your workshop looks like everything is at your fingertips, and the niobium bats are fantastic. I love niobium, and the bats are perfect for Halloween. She's gonna love it! :!: ...and if she doesn't you know where to send it.

Yes, and Christian owned, too. I'm surprised it's apparently not in Canada. :)

KJ that was hilarious.

There are alot of US chains that we do not have here.
Food is so expensive here in Canada compared to the US, they probably couldn't make a go of it.

Lol.. I worked at chick-fil-a last year. Only worked when the kids were in school. They were very good to work for, flexible, etc... The only reasons I quit was because we were moving and school was ending for the kids and I needed to be home during the summer with them.

Anyways, I still enjoy Their food and we swing by when the opportunity presents itself.

Ok, here's my latest...

This first is Argentium, Niobium, and Minitabi opal.

And the back...

The idea was to amplify the colors in the opal into the jewelry.

And the next piece is just something I drummed up when sitting at the bench playing with some scrap 18k on Argentium..

I forgot t how fun this was, glad I'm finally getting back to it! I mean... I liked working at chick-fil-a, but I think this is still better!

Absolutely, and your talent is wasted at Chick-fil-a! :!:
