Several years i asked John to shorten a gold neckless that was made of gold threads, he said he didnt want to do this because of the fear of the unraveling of the gold when cut-this old dog suggested that he add a little spot of gold soldier to the area to be cut, stableizing the loose ends & solving the problem, he did this & the rest is history & part of his repair finds-
