Folks, I have just bought my own house, my very first one, the contract is signed. Its free and unencumbered, no banks.

Alright! Field trip to mick's, y'all!! We'll go crash at his place and throw a housewarming party to help him christen his new house.

I'm so happy for you, mick, and know the feeling when you buy your first house, and the satisfaction of knowing it's yours and that you can do what you want with it; but owning it free and clear is fantastic! It looks darling, and is obviously well made to have lasted so long. How many rooms is it, and is it at the shore like the rental you had? With a lot that size you've got plenty of room for the chickens and dog. Is any of it fenced? ... inquiring minds, you know.
