The builder next door, his dog has adoptred us. I only fed it once, I promise.

Its like one of those dogs that sits outside the Butchers all day.

He said yes I am surprised too, she usually eats them.

I figure we have bonded, she knows they are part of the family so she wont eat them.

Maybe it will keep the foxes away and you'll be able to replace some of those chicks you lost, mick. I know how much you loved having those eggs every day, so this could be a way to protect your chickens.
