Roos

Post by mick »

I found this Roo Claw laying in the bush, its not a real big one but it gives you an idea of what damage they can inflict when they are angry.

It has three of these on each front leg and a couple of smaller ones.

The hind legs, well they are even more deadly. Unlike most animals that want to kill you, Roos have no facial expression.

You can usually tell if they hate you by if they are chasing you right?

I hope so because the only other reason I can think of for why it might chase you is if it was in an amorous mood.

That's pretty darn impressive, mick. Do you know how it might have lost the claw? Is that a common thing or rarely seen? :?:

Thanks for sharing that with us! :)

They drop dead all the time so they are not hard to find.
Who knows how the evil buggers think?
They used to sell Kangaroo Paw back scratchers with a bottle opener at the other end but I havent seen any for ages.
They wil chase you, they come at you with that rat like expressionless face and youve got to do the bolt.
Mating time sends everything mad I reckon!

Here is how I like my Roos.
mate dropped it in for the dogs who have had some.
tomorrow I will spit roast the bastard it will be very nice indeed.
Its very lean meat, 3% fat. Why we cant feed the starving masses with Roos is due to left wing socialist greenie ratbags.
This one was caught in a fence so they cut its leg off to free it and the rest of it hopped away. :D

Wow, that's pretty wild, mick. It figures the greenies would rather have you overrun with foxes and roos rather than removing the foxes and feeding the roos to the homeless and hungry.

Its a pity I didnt have the good camera and it was cloudy, but they are back in the paddock across the road.
As soon as the cattle get moved out, they come back in.

Way cool, mick! How many migrate to that field after the cows leave? Yesterday I saw 2 deer down below the deck, and when I went to the door I saw there were 6 of them, which is most of 'the herd' that visits the pastures. I'm looking forward to when you catch them with the good camera and can do some closeups for us. Thanks for the treat! :)
