6.4 cts Black opal from Banten, Indonesia. This is solid fully opal without treatment, no oil, no heat just cutting and polishing.
16x12x6mm... One of the true black opal... But they are extremely unpopular, people just know Australian black and black Ethiopian

Thanks... I believe thats Nevada and Canadian opal have similar volcanic black opal too as the Indonesian does

We get no respect either price wise. Shoppers like the POC but believe the lie it will all crack unless bought from the speakers of said "belief".

Yeah... Most opal collector understand the uniqueness of opals from each location. Opal contains water , some will crack if the handler not knowing what should do and don't. Buyer love good POC indeed
