I didn't even find one in the professional figurative category that was appealing to me, and I don't know how they judged most of them and found them worthy. I loved the Renaissance glass, the twister was brilliant, the eagle was awesome, and especially the dragons in the men's wear category. I also loved the spider earrings with the webs, but most everything else left me wondering why they were chosen.

looks like 'abstract' category (pro & non-pro) was not very popular this year
not to mention Designers Wear for Males and drawings
and what about the Christine Roussell Award ?

Got my pieces back without a word. They not even bothered to send notice that something is on the way.

Wrote her a letter, but no reply yet.

I Just looked at the male designer bla bla catergory, no 2 on the list. HIDEOUS! I dont think I will look at any more.

Ok I looked at one more, sholdnt have, this looks like a very "in" group of people, some if it is rubbish. Compared to what was pictured on here.
It seems to have been judged on the Opal and value, not carving skills. Just my 2 cents worth.
