Yay! I ended up using Priority Mail Global Express padded envelope. And I found the easiest way for me to make payment was to use Western Union wire to their bank.

Commercial Sample with description on the customs form. And let me find the tariff code for unset opal...

7103.99.1080 - But my form only had the older version which is the first 6 digits.

WOOT-WOOT! :D my entry made it safely to Australia!

While I'm not really expecting to win top prize, you never know... I'll just be happy knowing that my little carving is going to enjoy some excitment in Australia! If I could of fit in the envelope, I would of joined it! :D. So this is next best thing for me!

KJ, thanks much for all info! I was so worried, never did this kinda big contest before. Usually I keep all my stuff to myself or a few friends. I guess I'm stepping out and stepping up! 8-)

Sorry to hear your unable to cut Supreme... Maybe next one. What is it that is holding you back? :cry

Whaa, that was fast too. So now lets hope KJ's items make it too and then lets see what the judges think of us. :) :) :)
You are absolutely right Brightlight, Prizes are fine and good, but much more important are the possibilities to participate and the challenges that come in creating.

The bunch of you are so talented. Thanks for representing the "forum" in the competition. I do appreciate the effort they take to make. I think seeing all entries at presentation is the best for the contest. I hate judging unless there are clear guidelines and various skill. But don't we all like it when it is easier? I've skittered more than one bit along something or just buried it when I thought I would just punch a hole through or carve it up.

:/ Mine is held up in customs right now. They want me to prove value. I'm waiting for them to open to call because the email address provided bounced.
