In Pala's newsletter I saw the most amazing carving that I just have to show you. It was shown in a story from Feb. 2015, and since we didn't launch until June 4th of 2015, I doubt we have any photos of these yet, so I'm posting the one mentioned above from the newsletter, and will link you to the story from 2015 to see a few more. In the story there's a link to Gemstone Carvings by Dreher, that shows a chameleon that looks like the spitting image of my Nose Bay (pronounced nosey be) Blue chameleon that I brought with me, along with a Veiled chameleon, when I moved here. I think you'll agree they're fantastic when you see them and say, Wow!!! :)

The 2015 article is titled, Larsons Loan Dreher Gem Carvings for GIA Display, and it's almost 1/2 way down the page, in case the link doesn't take you right to it. http://www.palagems.com/gem-news-2015-0 ... dreher_feb

What led me to the carvings was a current newsletter announcement about the newly released book, Dreher Carvings: Gemstone Animals from Idar-Oberstein, published by Arnoldsche, where you can order it, https://www.arnoldsche.com/ or you can get it thru Pala if you're going to Tucson and would like to pick up your copy at the Pala booth. Email them at info@palagems.com

I clicked thru to the publisher and got the price for you. It's $85 USD. Sounds like another good Christmas present to me. I'm going to write to Santa!
