Guess the opal

Post by kjsspot »

I was tickled pink that I won a $10 GC to Opal Auctions by being the first to guess these right! YAY!! :D

Anyhoo, I know some of you don't get on FB and I thought you might want to test your knowledge.

See if you can name all 4 types of opal?

Congrats on the win, KJ! I won't play because I had just read the newsletter and seen the opals, so I know what they are without guessing.

I'll have to search the OA sight for a newsletter. I didn't know they had one!

It didn't take me long to spend my prize. I spent a bit more than $10 though... lol They haven't shipped yet.

I picked these up from Paul. First one was the most expensive and the smallest. I was trying to stay cheap but fell in love. This is only 1.55 ct. Then I added another LR Black and a small cheap piece.

(These aren't showing in the right order. The small one is in the tweezers. Then the cheap one is the gray wave.)

LR Black 13x10x2mm 1.55ct $135 (4).jpg

LR Black 28x19x5mm 17.6 ct $60 c.jpg

lLR Nobby 30x18x10 20 ct $16 (1).jpg
