There's a small slideshow in this one that I'm showing you my favorite from so use the link to see the other items. It's really too bad that platinum doesn't photograph particularly well and comes out looking like the pics were taken in B&W, especially on a white background. :?

The program, now in its third year, tasked gold-focused designers with creating platinum pieces to exhibit during the Couture show in Las Vegas next month.

"New York—Platinum Guild International (PGI) has revealed the 11 designers participating in its third annual Couture Platinum Spotlight Program.

Ahead of the jewelry trade show next month, the organization has again commissioned gold-focused designers to create pieces in platinum for its capsule collection.

Four new designers are joining the program: Mike Joseph, Renato Cipullo, Selim Mouzannar, and Single Stone.

They will be accompanied by seven “alumni:” Beck, Harwell Godfrey, Jade Ruzzo, Retrouvaí, Sorellina, Ten Thousand Things, and Walters Faith.

“One of the most distinctive characteristics shared by Couture’s designers and brands is a fearlessness when it comes to expanding outside their comfort zones in expressing their creativity,” said Gannon Brousseau, director of Couture and executive vice president of Emerald.

“The designers who have opted to partner with Platinum Guild International for our Couture Platinum Spotlight program have been so enthusiastic in taking on the challenge of working with a new [to them] metal, and their nuanced understanding of the art form has allowed them to leverage platinum’s unique properties to beautifully enhance their singular designs.”

This year’s pieces range from statement earrings to cocktail rings.

While it is required to create a piece in platinum, some designers used this opportunity to recreate their most well-known pieces, while others developed entirely new designs, said the organization.

The Couture Platinum Spotlight Program is meant to bring attention to the precious metal, the mission of PGI.

“Platinum’s popularity with more jewelry designers creating fashion-forward pieces in this highly desired metal has continued an upward trajectory over the past few years,” said Jenny Luker, president of PGI USA.

“The availability of more non-bridal designers is important in creating an opportunity to ensure platinum is on consumers’ radar much earlier in their jewelry journey and is a key piece to platinum’s continued growth.”
