Anyone lucky enough to be in Italy for the opening of Venice’s 60th Biennale should swing by Buccellati’s grand affair. Closer to home, make time for one of the country’s finest art and design fairs and/or a tips-laden webinar about how to leverage your press coverage for growth.

The 60th Venice Biennale international art exhibition is now open in the Italian city known as “La Serenissima.” Centered on art by indigenous creators, the event also features a major retrospective by the Italian jeweler Buccellati. Called “The Prince of Goldsmiths, Rediscovering the Classics,” the exhibition (on through June 18) traces the distinctive themes of Buccellati’s creations, highlighting the mastery and preciousness of “classic” forms. Today also marks the final day of “Jewelry by Sculptors and Painters,” an exhibition at the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal by the London-based gallerist Elisabetta Cipriani.

The Philadelphia Show: April 25–28 (in person)

The 62nd edition of the Philadelphia Show, one of the nation’s leading art and design fairs and a signature fundraiser supporting the Philadelphia Museum of Art, opens Thursday on the museum’s iconic East Terrace. James Robinson and Glen Leroux will show jewelry alongside furniture, and the European Decorative Arts Company will display an outstanding collection of objects made in rock crystals and other hard stones.
