11ct. Infinite Blue Diamond Misses Expectations

I just posted an article on the auction of a supposedly blue diamond that showed no blue color in the photo, which I said was disappointing so I was relieved when I clicked through to this one and saw this beautiful blue diamond surrounded by what appear to be pink diamonds or sapphires, but oddly enough they don't mention anything but the blue diamond so we don't know for sure, but I would suspect pink diamonds. This ring is gorgeous, but it failed the meet the pre=sale estimate.

The ring containing the radiant-cut, fancy-vivid-blue diamond had a presale range of $26 million to $37 million at the October 5 sale, Sotheby’s said last week. It opened the municipality’s luxury-sales series, which includes the Magnificent Jewels auction.
