Here's another unique gemstone from my friend Brad Payne, The Gem Trader, and I'm showing it to you because this is a very rare find to have an insect so perfectly framed and readily visible in this pale yellow amber, which is also faceted, which we seldom see done to amber. Sweet! I wish I could afford it, but I can't so if any of y'all snag it let us know. :)

Color: Medium Yellow

Clarity: Moderately Included

Origin: Eastern Europe

Cut: Rectangular Step

Treatments: None

Measurements: 7.2 x 5.8 mm

While we have occasionally offered faceted Amber from various locales, we rarely have the chance to handle an example with an insect inclusion. A magnificent stone with a beautiful and well framed winged insect under the table of the gem. Great color and a pristine insect, this one is endlessly fascinating. Rare.

Heck, Im done filling up my gem cases and it's time to start from the other end. Thats a nice one. We used to have a nice big centered mosquito in a silver piece egg sized pendent we got in Mexico, but then it sold.
