Hey y'all! I have a friend who found some Burma Jadeite in their old stock. They were advised by a Jade expert to charge $450 a pound. Seems a bit steep. I know it's one of the more rare Jades out there but since the sanctions have been lifted wouldn't that price start coming down again? Any thoughts?

You can never get what it should cost unless you ask that much. Online prices in closed auctions compared to list prices at dealers should telll you all you need to know. Grading as in everything is essential. I was told 45 for so so monterey that was not translucent decades ago
