If I was still in Texas I'd be making a trip to Dallas to visit this boutique and a lot of other stores in the Galleria. Bachendorf has a total of 3 stores in Texas, and this one's the latest renovation.
Bachendorf’s Opens Renovated Boutique in Galleria
The revamped Bachendorf’s space inside the Galleria Dallas shopping mall boasts a curation of luxury brands, a bridal atelier, and a Rolex shop-in-shop.
"Dallas—Bachendorf’s has reopened its newly renovated boutique inside the Galleria Dallas shopping center.
The century-old company, owned by the Bock family, has had a spot in the mall since the 1980s.
Its reimagined space balances lavish displays and an inviting layout, the retailer said, mirroring the Bock family’s customer-centric values and allowing for a seamless, immersive shopping experience.
The redesigned Bachendorf’s store features a 7,000-square-foot showroom.
The new 7,000-square-foot showroom contains a curated ensemble of luxury names including David Yurman, Roberto Coin, Mikimoto, Norman Silverman Breitling, Omega, and Cartier.
Swiss watchmaker Zenith has also joined the lineup of brands.
The new layout also includes an improved bridal atelier, which features a refined and artistic design, and within it, master jewelers assist with sourcing diamonds and crafting custom settings.
The store is also reintroducing its Rolex shop-in-shop in a 1,500-square-foot “sophisticated” setting that promotes harmony and intimacy with the brand, Bachendorf’s said.

The design features the elegant Rolex aesthetic and “radiates the values of the Rolex crown,” the retailer said.
Bachendorf’s legacy began with Abram Bock, who learned the trade as an apprentice in 1900 in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he married the daughter of his jewelry instructor.
In 1928, they moved to Memel, Germany, where Bock had a flourishing jewelry business. The family, including their two children, moved again in 1947 to Dallas, where Bock’s four brothers had settled before the war. He opened his first downtown storefront for repairing jewelry in 1948 and eventually began selling diamonds as well.
His son Harry took over the business when Abram passed away in 1968, opening the first Bachendorf’s store in 1977 and ran the store until he passed away in 2010, and is succeeded by his son Lawrence.
"Embracing our heritage, we proudly open a new chapter at Galleria Dallas,” said Bachendorf’s fourth-generation owner Lawrence Bock.

“From my grandfather's roots in Germany to my father’s vision in Dallas, our family's tradition of fine jewelry endures. With unwavering values as our compass, we invite you to join us in celebrating life's milestones with the finest diamonds, designer jewelry, and timepieces."
Bachendorf’s original Galleria Dallas store opened in 1985 with the mission of serving the North Texas clientele’s desire for “ultimate luxury,” the retailer said.
“Bachendorf’s has been not only a signature tenant at Galleria Dallas but truly a collaborative partner for the last four decades,” said Angie Freed, general manager at the Galleria.
“We are proud to be home to the largest Bachendorf’s location and to share the beautifully curated collection of designer fine jewelry that only the Bock family offers.”
