Rahaminov x Bucherer Paint the Town Pink, Yellow, and Sparkling White

"Bucherer, the Swiss company best known for the watches it manufactures, is also a luxury retailer with a portfolio of boutiques across the globe. Earlier this month it announced the introduction of Rahaminov Diamonds, a third-generation family-run diamond cooperative, into its U.S. retail network. Rahaminov will complement Bucherer’s existing retail mix of prestigious European jewelry houses (e.g., Boucheron, Chopard, and Piaget) and Bucherer’s own branded jewelry collections.
Most people in the industry associate Los Angeles–based Rahaminov with big, bold diamonds—often yellow and pink, sometimes green—and the pieces on offer at the Bucherer 1888 TimeMachine store on Manhattan’s 57th Street are what you’d expect. Except that they are somehow even more spectacular when you get to touch and feel them, as JCK’s Melissa Rose Bernardo saw for herself at the launch party earlier this month.
One example: the yellow diamond glamazon below, clocking in at more than 50 carats.

Bucherer and Rahaminov first connected through one of the latter’s retailers, Leeds & Son. (Bucherer acquired the Palm Desert, Calif., business in 2022.)
In addition to lighting up the Manhattan flagship, Rahaminov Diamonds’ fine jewelry collections will have a presence on Tourneau’s website (Bucherer acquired Tourneau in 2018) and at other Bucherer boutiques across the U.S., including Bal Harbour, Fla.; South Coast Plaza and Palm Desert in Southern California; and Las Vegas’ Bucherer 1888 TimeDome.
Rahaminov’s history goes back to the 1940s, when the Rahaminov brothers became diamond cutters in Israel’s Buchara Diamonds cooperative. In the 1980s, Tamara Rahaminov, daughter of one of the founders, and Amir Goldfiner expanded the legacy, opening an office in Los Angeles and transforming the company into a luxury brand. The design concepts are led by Tamara (whose surname is now Goldfiner—she and Amir are married), and the business is represented by daughters Nicol and Melanie Goldfiner. Together they continue Rahaminov’s tradition of offering creations that always make diamonds—big, marvelous, and endlessly clear ones—the central focus.
