Post by PinkDiamond »

The earrings in the lead pic are gorgeous, but my favorite from this one is the pair with the diamonds and aquamarines. 8-)

"Platinum is often considered an ideal metal for engagement rings and wedding bands, but for consumers, it’s a good fit in all categories of jewelry.

Take earrings, which are not often set in platinum. Closely associated with luxury and high jewelry, the bright white metal gives a pair of diamond studs incredible shine, and ensures they’re strong and safe for daily wear. Working as a backdrop for the sparkle of diamonds and colored gemstones, it provides a strong house for them to reside, ensuring a lifetime of wear. Though many jewelers will recommend platinum for its durability and appearance, there’s a tangible value—a feeling of luxury—that draws consumers to rich white metal. In the ear especially, where its weightiness can be felt ... "
