I can't take advantage of mick's sale this time, but I did last time and I got these beauties.
One pair Lighting Ridge Ear Rings aka Christmas Baubles
Dimensions (mm) 42 x 15 x 15mm
Weight (carats) 46 carats
And since I have a teal color Christmas tree up in a dark corner of the room all year, that I change the decorations on for the seasons, guess where the earring are? Yup, on the tree.

Folks here is a nice pair of Lightning Ridge Ear Rings from the 1970s
They weigh about 23 carats each.
The bowl is 15mm,. the cap 9mm and overall they hang 42mm on the hooks.
These actually look pretty well made with the gold solder. I do not know what material the metal is.
I think these would be good as Christmas decorations if you have one of those little trees on your desk or by your bed, I think they look great as that, better than ear rings, just a thought.
Here you can see them tastfully displayed on a tree!
