I was surprised and delighted to find a figure drawing session here in Fargo! They meet once a month and it's only $10. Darned cheap for a live model. I've attached a couple of my sketches from today. They're pretty rough but it sure was nice to be able to get the pastels out again! It was like a soothing balm to my soul.

That's great KJ, and it's wonderful that you find such peace and serenity while working with pastels. Were there many participants? This is great because now we can look forward to seeing your sketches every month.

About 7-8 I think. Not a bad turn out I thought.

Well, it's been a month and I went to my second session. This model stayed was into martial arts. He kept most of his clothes on. We started with some quick sketches and then I'll post my the final session as well.
