Can I call him and Opalcutter both OC? We need to think about this. I read the rules and did not want to use his given name, even though it's hardly a secret. Maybe OCNS or OCCA vs. OCIR

Not to worry. Chris signs his posts with his name, so he can be Chris, and opalcutter can be OC.

How about a section on prepping & cleaning mineral & fossil specimens ? Safety concerns for various cleaning methods could be discussed in the same section, or be a sub section.
