Greetings from a new member in Nevada

Greetings,
I was on YouTube and saw a reference to your group. Naturally I came to your site and registered because Opal is one of my favorite gemstones!
I also have a keen interest in coins, edged weapons and other collectibles. For example, I have a bronze eagle made in the 1800's and a Swiss coin minted quite recently, but exceedingly rare! (It's one of just a few known).
I will be reading, and replying when I can contribute something helpful, interesting, or funny, and getting to know you.

Welcome Charles! I picture living in Arizona to be about 90% rock, gem, mineral, and gold hunting and digging... What do you do for,a living with the last 10%?
( I'm stuck in ohio, so we just have quarries and a few fossils... Blah...
)

I'm retired, but I make a few rings and buy, sell, and trade coins and other collectibles.
