Pretty rocks from Swordfish

I have to share with y'all, with John's permission, because he sent me a box of rocks from his area, and I can't believe the beauty and the variety of what he has around him. He stuffed the box full, and even included a doorstop , so here are some pics of some of my favorites of the rocks he finds.

Mind you, that's just a sampling of what he crammed into the box, which weighed a ton.

It took me a good hour to go thru it, and it was like Christmas came early. Thanks again John!!

You're welcome. Thanks for all you do to keep the forum running smoothly. I see what you meant about one crumbled. Yes it did LOL. That and it was mined at least 50 years ago.

Nice stuff there. I recognize some of it from my quick trips to northern NV - little opalized limbs, wood, obsidian, etc. It is such an interesting area for rockhounds. Looks like you'll have to open a small museum to display it all!
