Oh wow, Michael. Another beauty. Is there an inlay in the eye on the right? I love the patterns the malachite gives it. Nice going!

Thanks Lydia & PinkDiamond, yes the eye is inlayed, chatoyant malachite, but sadly I won,t be using it in the finished piece as it will not take a good polish, very crystaline, I could coat then polish but I prefer to have it all natural, I have some shell I may use that looks great, just need to work out the polish on Pearl shell, I purchased some tripoli, Zam, and fabuluster to give it a go.

Nice work. Shell would give it a water pop to the carving even tho' its well presenting with juft the hole.
