I've never actually "seen" a puffin up close.
I'm in Halifax Nova Scotia, we have crows and pigeons here...LOL

Funny enough, I used to own a house on Cape Sable Island, which is right next to seal island. Seal island was just a short boat ride from my old house.

We did also have piping plovers there, the breeding grounds were basically in my back yard, and you couldn't walk on the beach in the spring for fear of crushing their eggs buried in the sand nests.

Yeah, the piping plovers are there, too, but if you do end up going to Seal Island you know what you have to do for me.

ok pink ya knows I have high percentage of equine flavonoids in my blood and I've seen many of them at that age sorry the little foal didn't make laugh .... but you really gave my tear ducks a work out ...... thanks for the memory ....oh I did smile as well
