Some meteorites contain olivine. In some cases, there are areas of olivine/green peridot that are big enough to facet or cab. Mine is a pallasite from Lyon County, Kansas that fell in 1881:

Its about 5 carats. I had considered cabbing it, but decided that I like it the way it is (plus I don't want to experiment with grinding the mix of iron and olivine). Your faceted piece is fabulous!
