1.59 ct. Faceted Amber with Insect

Post by PinkDiamond »

Here's another rare stone I found in my friend Brad The Gem Trader's newsletter, and I just posted one he has that's a daylight fluorescent opal I put in the Enthusiast Zone, so check out this one and then take a look at the opal if you haven't seen it yet. Both stones are rare finds, which Brad has always been adept at locating. 8-)

While we have occasionally offered faceted Amber from various locales, we rarely have the chance to handle an example with an insect inclusion. They are inordinately popular and we are continuly trying to source this fascinating rarities. A magnificent stone with a beautiful and well framed winged insect under the table of the gem. This is the largest stone we have had and with a very large and superbly preserved insect. Great color, a pristine insect and a fine longwave fluoresence, this one is endlessly fascinating. Rare.
