Stock Up on These 5 Trends at JCK Las Vegas and Luxury

Post by PinkDiamond »

Here are the trends from JCK that our designers might want to pay attention to and plan to have some items akin to these on hand to offer customers. I like the bracelet in the lead pic, as well as the tennis bracelet with the marquis diamonds, and the pearl necklace in the last shot is gorgeous too so check these out. ;)

"With the 2024 JCK Las Vegas and Luxury shows in sight, now is the time to take stock of the trends you’ll want to invest in. Below, we offer a snapshot of five burgeoning styles sure to be in vogue this summer and beyond.

Western-inspired jewels

The cowboy aesthetic, which includes everything from ten-gallon hats to rhinestone studs and fringe, cycles in and out of fashion. This year, be prepared to giddyap. Inspired by the wild and rugged iconography of the American West, and stoked by pop-culture idols—namely, Beyoncé and her No. 1 country music album, Cowboy Carter—the look has had a clear impact on the jewelry scene, where horseshoes, horse heads, stirrups, and other Western motifs are having a moment.

Tenniscore

The lifestyle media brand PopSugar called it on April 26: “it’s all but guaranteed to be a tennis-girl summer.” Citing the new Zendaya film Challengers, the editors went on to detail the tennis-related beauty styles they expect will dominate social media feeds throughout the summer. So-called tenniscore could have even more of an influence for jewelry—from interesting riffs on diamond tennis bracelets (think: fancy shapes and colors, as well as colored stones) to tennis necklaces. The ultimate in cool-girl chic, tenniscore is on the ascent.

Collar necklaces

In 2010, Aloe Blacc sang about needing a dollar (“I need a dollar, dollar, a dollar is what I need”). Today, we feel the same way about a collar, collar—a collar necklace, that is. The style gets its name from where it sits on the neck, flat to the body and higher than most other necklace types, but not quite as high as a choker. Keep your eyes peeled in Las Vegas for gold versions of this rigid silhouette, which is trending big this season.

Button earrings

Popularized in the 1950s and ’60s and resurrected in the ’80s, button earrings are having another revival, thanks in part to period shows like FX’s Feud: Capote vs. the Swans. Typically round and chunky, with a post back or a clip-on, the button earring is like a classic stud with extra oomph. For styling examples, just look to the women—from Coco Chanel to Joan Collins—who’ve popularized the ladylike look over the decades.

Pinkish-purplish pearls

The pearl renaissance continues unabated. In addition to classic white pearls, colored pearls—especially in pinkish and purplish hues—are trending, especially when paired with colored stones in complementary hues. These aren’t your pearls next door!
