Putting on the Ritz: Cracker Company Contest Features Butter-Shaped 24k Gold Bar

"No one had it on their 2024 bingo card, but somebody could win a solid gold bar in the shape of a stick of butter, worth $100,000.
To publicize its new Buttery-er Crackers, cracker brand Ritz has partnered with New York City jewelry designer Greg Yüna for a contest that will award a butter-shaped 24k gold bar. The crackers and the gold stick of butter are designed to encourage fans to “Live Buttery-er,” which is an indulgent, butter-infused life that all snacking enthusiasts aspire to. Or something.
To enter the contest, you must showcase your “Buttery-er” self in a TikTok video using the Live Buttery-er TikTok effect created by Ritz. For those with dignity, you also can enter by mail.
The contest starts May 1 and continues through May 20. One winner will be selected in a random drawing on or around June 5.

“I’ve always loved working with gold for its power to automatically bring any concept to an elevated space,” Yüna said in a statement. “I immediately knew that this project was something that my team and I could execute and have fun with, because one thing we definitely know how to do is to be extra.
