Jam + Rico Debuts Second Claire’s Collection
Jam + Rico recently launched its second collection for Claire’s, inspired by African art and architecture.
"Hoffman Estates, Ill.—Jam + Rico, the Caribbean-inspired jewelry brand founded by Lisette Scott, launched its latest collection heading for Claire’s.
Scott’s first collection for the retailer channeled her Caribbean heritage and her childhood summers in California.
For the second collection, Scott took inspiration from the “intricate designs, vibrant colors, and symbolic meanings embedded in African art and architecture.”
The 10-piece offering combines “global fashion and the intricate craftsmanship rooted in African traditions,” said Claire’s.

“The collection is a reminder of the importance of cultural exchange, fostering connections, and appreciating the unique stories embedded in art and design,” said Scott.

The jewels, which include bangles, hoops, statement earrings, rings, and a necklace, are 18-karat gold plated.
Scott also works in the fine jewelry space and was a member of the inaugural class of the Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative.
