Stuller to Host Bench Jeweler Workshop in March
Louisiana-based manufacturer Stuller is inviting bench jewelers to its headquarters in March for a two-day workshop of classes and demonstrations.
"Lafayette, La.—Stuller is hosting a two-day workshop for bench jewelers at its headquarters next month.
The event, featuring in-depth classes, product demonstrations, and networking, will be held at the manufacturer’s global headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana, from March 22-23.
The workshop will include classes and demos presented by Stuller and industry experts, including “Introduction to GRS Machines,” “Laser Engraving Essentials,” “Applying Special Finishes,” “Gem ID Tips and Tricks,” and “Getting Started with Permanent Jewelry.”
Chris Leonard, director of tools, said the event is open to both novice and expert level bench jewelers, who will be able pick from a range of class offerings to create a schedule that suits their individual interests.
“Bench Jeweler Workshop is the ultimate experience for bench jewelers interested in keeping up with the latest technology and trends,” said Leonard.
Registration is also now open for “Battle of the Benches,” a series of challenges that it says will test the skills of “exceptional” bench jewelers.
The event will take place over two days on the demonstration floor and feature the following three challenges: Stone Setting Challenge, Parts & Pieces Challenge, and CAD Design Challenge.
