Facet Barcelona Opens New Factory in Spain

"Barcelona, Spain—Jewelry manufacturer Facet Barcelona recently celebrated the opening of its new factory and facilities.
The opening is a “step forward” for its U.S. business, said Facet Barcelona, as the new factory will increase its production capacity and reduce delivery times for the North American market.
Located in Cordoba’s Jewelry Park in southern Spain, the space houses gemologists, polishers, setters, a customer service team, and specialists in casting, machining, and numerical control.
The company said it serves more than 1,500 customers in more than 25 countries.
Its U.S. management team traveled to Spain to attend the event.
Guests who attended the opening were given a tour of the new facility.
“The company’s core commitment to cutting-edge technology and digital tools greatly improves its production and management processes,” said the company.
“[Facet Barcelona CEO] José Miguel Serret and his team believe their focus on these areas, along with [an] innovative B2B platform, will prove crucial to improving the user experience and ultimately capture a larger share of the U.S. jewelry market.”
Those who attended the opening were given a tour, guided through several steps in the jewelry manufacturing process, including design, prototyping, stone selection, and setting, as guides emphasized the company’s quality control.
“Due to the trust placed in us by our customers and the surge in orders, we have expanded our manufacturing facilities to 1,200 square meters,” said Serret.
