We only see one pendant in this one, but we have other articles on Castro on the forum so if you'd like to see more just do a search of his name and you'll be able to view other pieces of his work. ;)

"Fine jewelry brand Castro NYC is entering a partnership with Carpenters Workshop Gallery to represent the jewelry of the late Terry Castro (pictured) and collaborate on a retrospective exhibition of his work next year at the gallery’s Ladbroke Hall in London.“Terry Castro’s vision, craftsmanship, and creativity are a testament to his artistry and innovation and resonate with the spirit of Carpenters Workshop Gallery, where creativity knows no bounds and the boundaries of collectable jewelry art are pushed,” Tamara Platiša, Carpenters Workshop Gallery’s head of jewelry, said in a statement.

“Carpenters Workshop Gallery is honored to represent Castro NYC exclusively and looks forward to hosting the first retrospective of the artist’s work in 2024,” Platiša said.

Terry Castro founded Castro NYC in 2006, making fine jewelry that is considered wearable art. The brand became known for its futuristic design, innovative use of materials, and Castro’s extraordinary eye for gemstones.

Following Castro’s unexpected death at age 50 in July 2022, Castro NYC has been relaunched under the direction of Sir King Castro, Terry’s son and apprentice. Sir King (who uses the pronoun they) has been developing the next phase of Castro NYC’s business, with the goal of preserving and expanding on their father’s legacy.

Sir King Castro says they are preserving their father’s legacy and expanding it through a partnership with Carpenters Workshop Gallery.

Sir King Castro has reestablished relationships with Terry Castro’s jewelry partners in Istanbul, set up an archive of his works, and created a website where collectors and potential customers can learn more about his life and jewelry.

Terry Castro left behind ideas and sketches that have yet to be crafted into jewelry, says Sir King, who has been proceeding slowly and carefully to ensure that any projects honor Terry’s vision and artistry. “We are a small family business, and I want to keep it that way,” Sir King says.

Animals—birds in particular—featured prominently in Terry Castro’s richly detailed work, like this Falcon Crest pendant (price upon request), which has 18k yellow gold, freshwater pearls, diamonds, rubies, antique emeralds, and sterling silver detailing.

Sir King had worked with their father since they were a child, and relocated to Istanbul with him in 2016. All that time by Terry’s side in his workshops allowed Sir King to learn his techniques and signature look.

Preserving their father’s designs while producing new pieces is now Sir King Castro’s focus, and they are meeting with clients in New York. Sir King supervised Castro NYC’s show during New York Fashion Week at Carpenters Workshop Gallery’s Manhattan space, which highlighted Castro NYC’s brand relaunch imagery for the public.
