Our anniversary - a year to remember

Post by PinkDiamond »

It's June 4th, which is the anniversary of the launch of the forum, and for some reason I always thought we launched in 2014, but after the crash this year that left us offline for 37 days until Mr Hamill restored us, when we came back the date we launched was at the top of the data in the control panel and I found out I was wrong. Turns out it was 2015, so I'm happy to tell you that now we know for sure that opalholicsanonymous is up and running for 8 years as of today, minus the 37 days we were down of course.

So Happy Anniversary to all our opalholics, many of which have been with us even longer, since we were part of opalauctions.com. I'm so grateful for each and every one of you since we wouldn't still be going strong without you. Thanks so much for your support and the love of opals that brought us together. :D

You've done a stellar job keeping it all going.
I don't do Insta or FB(I've heard a lot of dealers have now moved to FB so I won't be able to deal with them..bummer) but to me, there's no lasting deep and meaningfulls to be had that way. Here, we can explore and hopefully find info we're chasing.

i say Pink, I just accidentally went to the front portal page and if anyone lands there, there's nothing to tell them where they are, the image link is broken. All you see is 'click here to enter the forum.

I know, it's been like that since Chris left and took the photo with him. I have no idea how to reload one so we're still stuck with a blank page. :?
