Bells ring for arrival of first albatross

Storms rolled across New Zealand yesterday, and the ready-to-fledge chicks took advantage of the excessively high wind gusts to spread their wings and test them, and I have two videos to show you. The first one is two of the nestlings practicing courting moves, and the second one is of my baby taking flight for the first time and soaring off the nest area before circling around, so I'm sad that she's gone, but so happy that I got to see so many of them fledge since I also saw the two that were down below her take flight too, so it was a magical day to see all the fledglings try their wings and take flight for the first time.
